The data presented in this report relate to reputational issues and originate from social listening techniques.
The reputation of Athens, Greece, Spain, Italy and Portugal as travel destinations in Social Media are evaluated, and the intensity of conversations related to the Covid-19 pandemic is recorded. Further, for Athens and Greece, their reputation is examined for 6 main markets (Germany, UK, USA, France, Italy, Netherlands) as well as for specific reputation topics (Gastronomy, Sanitary safety, Culture, Cleanliness, Hospitality).
In addition, Athens as well as the bundles of “Sea & Sun” destinations in Greece, “other” destinations, and Greece overall are evaluated through social listening techniques applied on travel sites. Specific verticals examined are Culture, Sea, Restaurant, Shopping, and Accommodations. In addition, evaluation indicators on hygiene and sanitary safety issues for Athens and Greece are presented. The analysis covers six main markets (Germany, UK, USA, France, Italy, Netherlands).
