Project Objective

Provision of individualised counselling, training and certification services to unemployed persons of the Region of Central Macedonia, so that they acquire additional knowledge and basic and specific professional skills in the tourism sector, substantially enhancing their employability.

Description of Actions

– Provision of professional counselling support services through individual sessions (3 sessions per beneficiary).

– Targeted training programmes, of 280 hours’ duration (130 hours of theoretical training and 150 hours of work placement).

– Certification of the knowledge and skills acquired through the training.

– Indicative subject areas: Artificial Intelligence Applications Specialist in Tourism, Travel Agency Professional, Events Organisation Manager, Outdoor Recreation Activities Manager, Beverage Preparation Manager (barista/bartender).

Beneficiaries / Target Group

850 unemployed persons, registered in DYPA’s Unemployment Registers, irrespective of whether they receive unemployment benefit, not in education, employment or training, not holding pupil or student status, graduates of lower secondary, secondary or post-secondary education, from the Region of Central Macedonia.
