Project Objective

Enhancing the professional qualifications of employees in the tourism sector, so that they respond to the increased need to improve the quality of the services provided and to strengthen the competitiveness of Greek tourism.

Description of Actions

• Provision of professional counselling support services to participants through individual sessions (8 sessions per participant)
• Implementation of targeted continuing vocational training programmes of 150 hours’ duration
• Certification of knowledge and skills in accordance with the international standard ISO 17024 or by EOPPEP
• Publicity, financial management, monitoring and project support actions

Beneficiaries / Target Group

6,000 participating employees in private sector enterprises from all sectors of the economy, in specialisations related to the tourism sector (e.g. Food Service Manager, Culinary Arts Specialist, Barista, Specialist in Electronic Promotion Systems for Corporate Presence – Social Media Marketing).
