Project Objective
The formulation of a Roadmap for enhancing the competitiveness of Greek tourism through the use of digital technologies, seizing the opportunities and addressing the challenges arising from the penetration of digital technologies into the tourism sector.
Description of Actions
- Preparation of a Study entitled “Digital Technologies and Tourism – A Study of the Challenges and Opportunities for the Greek Tourism Sector”
- Analysis and utilisation of the results of the Stage 1 Study
- Development of a Web GIS application tool and a spatial database for mapping Greece’s tourism resources
- Drafting of a Roadmap for enhancing the competitiveness of Greek tourism through the use of digital technologies

Tourism enterprises and the country’s wider tourism sector, by highlighting digital transformation opportunities and enhancing their competitiveness.
